Thank people for what they do!

Thank people for what they do!

If you don’t care that people are engaging with you in social media, you are basically telling them that what they are doing doesn’t matter all that much to you. If you don’t realise and appreciate that they are solicitous about you, comment on your posts, share content and recommend you, you give them the feeling of being in vain in social media. They conclude thus that you think they are not all that important. It also implies that they’re not really contributing anything to society. People will feel useless.

The consequence of this lack of appreciation is that these people begin to doubt about the person that doesn’t care, they begin to develop a sort of indifference, they begin to doubt the social friendship.

The end of the story may be dreary and may perhaps lead to a sudden unfollow of the person that doesn’t care. Trust is destroyed and the social relationship is broken.

Don’t let it come so far! People won’t tolerate it that they “sacrifice their last shirt” for you in social media without being thanked and appreciated.

Learn to be open and sensitive for others – give people an open ear. The networks are full of wonderful and interesting people that are worth to get in contact with. Engage with them and seek the personal exchange. Encourage others in their talents and skills. Appreciate people for what they are and what they do. Thank and laud them. Get a real social networker!

People will like you when you support them – they will respect you and will recommend you to others.

In supporting others you will find your personal freedom and happiness. Your life finds inner fulfillment and joy. Your social life makes sense.

Give your social media life the sense that it deserves!

Be human and social and engage!
